One of my first doings as Mary LA.
I heard the original "Colours" by wonderful human being Delia as an Introtrack for a special-livemix about the label WORDSOUND from New York which i completely love to this very day.
Everything was too much and it all just talked to me. Since i was musically active since a little kid (church choir etc) this very song gave me initial power and instant will to write and produce electronically ... "The colours you see in churches".
Because i had no real skills those days i just sampled the part on tape and recorded myself resampling it through the EQ of my DJ-mixer into a PC using a free version of wavelab just to be able to touch, move and reverse it with the mouse.
Later i used that sample as base for one my early
, more finished, tracks:

just naming it "un-colour" LOL
... to be found on my "Divide Et Impera" Playlist
which gets updated here and there.
