"Don´t betray me" is inspired by a movie which name i forgot. It´s an asian romance and it had me crying rivers for it´s blatant sensitivity. It is talking to me because it contains everything i need in love - trust and respect. the " don´t " may be seen as a negative pole but it´s not since it is pointing on something being let out to free-space the good stuff.
Lies are all around, just like love,
and if betraying-lies are let out - love can breathe.
" this (love) is my place - this (love) is your place -
let´s make it our place - i love you - don´t betray me "
i wrote that line first, then laid out the simple melodies. i tried to write
a melody that could give me the vibe from my churchy years when i
was praying a lot - trying to find inner peace and light
- not sure if i made it right :)
it´s a little odd with those simple pads but it´s kind
of working that way. It´s a demo.
The tune never really finished and it is
more like an early practice-song for me.
Still - i like the meaning of the words for Mary LA
and as a study - it´s here now.
