Summer 2013. As i learned some analogue techniques already - thanks to my boys from the zone - i dipped my nose deeper into software and started to respect the computer as a stand-alone instrument. I felt like i should not treat the computer as a collection of software to simulate reality with - i should treat it as a whole - as one voice in my choir.
anyway :) this song is completely done with the computer. it was accompaning several photosessions of a girlfriend who i did hang out with a lot back then ( how are you, e ? ) .
The tune was not intended as music for Mary LA
- but since it is - here it is ...
I sampled hardware for it. 909 and 101 along with Juno pads. As underlay i sampled off 90ies DJ-mixtapes which intruded
my young soul with hardcore as a child listening to the famous
"clubnight"- mixes from hessian FFM radio HR3.
i mangled everything through an insert-plug In which enables the editor to make micropatterns in real time... should use it more.
Its a short tune - but works for me just fine.
