The TR 909. What the fuck happened when this bit was designed ???
Absolutely i m p o s s i b l e for me to not vibe when i hear
the sound of it. The power, the sonical colour, the look
- the fkn s o u n d means a screaming lot to me.
When i listened to late 80ies dance-pop like lisa stansfield, coldcut-tunes, adamski and some madonna etc ... it was the 909 i was looking (hearing) for.
When i found out the boys use one - i had to get hands on it quick! done! the day of that recording somewhere in 20-12.
Composing - savant KANON was in the building, too and we met over the light-sequencer to end in this slowcore pattern
accompanied by some 101 roars. We just recorded it " to not throw it in the bin just like that " but to me it was my second
confirmation (after the one in church).
:[ note to myself: more 909 - no matter how "in" it
is again these days - doesn´t bother me anyway :]
